A. Palmer HeadshotI write about my diet (spoiler: It sucks and I fail), depression (just another fun fact of life), cat pee (omnipresent), my parenting philosophy (try to keep them alive and show them how to keep themselves alive), and spend a lot of time using parenthesis (to show that despite my efforts at staying in the present moment I am always thinking at least two things at once.) I don’t write much about my husband, because unlike me he is not an open book. I would write more about my mother but she reads this blog (hi mom.)

I also write for parenting and mental health websites such as Parent.co, Ravishly, Good Men Project, Crazy Good Parenting, Sammiches and Psych Meds, Great Moments in Parenting, and Babble. Let me know if you would like to cross post, but try to ask during one of my good weeks…

I also really like lemons but not in my water. That’s gross.

Anna Rosenblum Palmer is a freelance writer based in Denver, CO. She writes about sex, parenting, cat pee, bi-polar disorder and the NFL; all things inextricably intertwined with her mental health. In her free time she teaches her boys creative swear words, seeks the last missing puzzle piece and thinks deeply about how she is not exercising. Her writing can be found on Babble, Parent.co, Great Moments in Parenting, Ravishly, Good Men Project, Sammiches and Psych Meds, Playpen, Crazy Good Parent, and YourTango. She also does a fair amount of navel gazing on her own blog at annarosenblumpalmer.com.
